HOW IT GOT STARTED
Our Story
We have always enjoyed experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen whether it's finding the perfect chocolate chip cookies, or creating a new salad. When this pandemic hit and so many lives were in danger we wanted to help in some way.  We decided, why not use our passion in baking and cooking towards a good cause? Thus, we started finding shelters in our communities that needed help and started cooking for 100 people each week. Then we decided why not share our passion with others in our community. This led to us founding the You(th) Cook initiative which we hope inspires other youth to help make a difference.

ANISHA KARNIK
Co-Founder
Hi everyone! My name is Anisha Karnik and I'm a rising senior at Tesla STEM High School. I have always been an active member of the community and love to give back and help those in need. Cooking and baking are hobbies that I love and have continued to expand on during my time in quarantine. I'm so happy to be able to use these skills toward a good cause and co-found a meaningful organization.
ANIKA CONSUL
Co-Founder
Hi everyone! My name is Anika Consul and I'm a rising senior at Tesla STEM High School. I like to think I'm a chocolate connoisseur and I love learning about the science of food (haha), but more importantly making a difference in my community and empowering youth to do the same has always been a passion of mine. Inevitably, during this global pandemic I wanted to do something to help which is why I co-founded You(th) Cook. I'm so happy to be doing beneficial work during this unprecedented time!
ANANYA NANDULA
